Former metro Denver school paraprofessional charged with child enticement, internet luring
A former Mapleton Citizens Schools paraprofessional was arrested and charged with enticement and internet luring of a child the Thornton Police Department noted Wednesday Michael Christopher Digiacomo is charged with two felonies after an examination into incidents that happened between March and April while he was working as a paraprofessional at Welby Area School Digiacomo was put on administrative leave April and fired from the school district May police revealed Mapleton district bureaucrats could not at once be reached for comment Wednesday night Investigators believe Digiacomo may have worked at other metro Denver school districts but are still working to confirm where he worked Thornton police stated Detectives are reviewing the possibility of additional casualties and encourage anyone with relevant information to come forward agency officers noted in a news release Digiacomo was circulated from the Adams County Jail on a cash bail on Sunday and is set to appear in court for an arraignment hearing on Friday court records show Anyone with information about the episode can contact the Thornton Police Department tip line at - - Sign up to get crime news sent straight to your inbox each day
